Econ Fund: Novo projeto visa viabilizar a participação da equipe da USP no Econometric Game 2017
O Econ Fund, plataforma de crowdfunding do Departamento de Economia da FEA-USP em parceria com a FIPE, lançou um novo projeto, o Econometric Game 2017 (EG2017). O Projeto busca contribuições para a participação da equipe do Departamento de Economia da USP no evento 18th Econometric Game, organizado pela Actuarial Science, Econometrics & Operational Research (VSAE), que será realizado de 5 a 7 de abril deste ano, na cidade de Amsterdã, na Holanda. O evento marcará a terceira participação da FEA-USP, única representante do Brasil no evento, em uma competição mundial de prestígio.
O Econometric Game é uma competição mundial de Econometria em que equipes de 4 alunos de universidades de renome em todo o mundo disputam o título de Campeã Mundial de Econometria. A participação na competição faz parte da internacionalização da USP, certificando a qualidade do nosso departamento de economia. O Econometric Game também é uma oportunidade única de interação dos alunos de pós-graduação com outros centros de excelência no ensino de econometria. Econ Fund: New project aims to enable the participation of USP’s team at the EG 2017! Contribute! The donations start at 02/03/2017!
The Econ Fund is a crowdfunding platform developed by USP’s Department of Economics together with FIPE (Institute Foundation of Economic Research) to finance important ideas and projects for its students. This year it launches a new project entitled Econometric Game 2017 (EG 2017). The project aims to raise funds to enable USP’s participation at the 18th Econometric Game, organized by the Actuarial Science, Econometrics & Operational Research (VSAE) of the University of Amsterdam. The competition will take place on the 5th, 6th and 7th of April 2017, in the city of Amsterdam, Netherlands. This year is USP’s third participation, and USP’s team is Brazil’s sole representative at this prestigious world competition.
The Econometric Game is a global competition of Econometrics in which delegations of 4 students from renowned universities all over the world compete for the title of World Champion in Econometrics. Participating in the competition gives us a good quality stamp and promotes the university internationally. The Econometric Game is also an unique opportunity for graduate students’ interaction with other econometrics teaching centers.
